AINS has an exciting opportunity for a talented developer within the DC metro region. The position is to perform the day to day development activities, and primarily focus on custom development tasks to include iOS mobile applications. There are series of customizations and integrations that requires the individual to be adept with iOS development and deployment, and support the current team in building a cohesive, streamlined and quality solutions. The primary work location is at the client site in Crystal City (Arlington), VA.

Candidates should be hands-on in all aspects software development life-cycle. Candidates must have the ability and interest to work on a range of different types of projects and business processes.

Position Description 

  • Work independently and collaboratively as a senior developer on a high-visibility software development projects.
  • Contribute to senior level design and architectural discussions  as well as customer requirements sessions to support  the implementation of mobile applications
  • Design and develop clear and maintainable code
  • Complete complex development tasks on time and on budget
  • Interact with the client to clarify analyze, assess requirements-
  • Actively involved in iterative requirements, design, development, testing activities and deployment activities.
 Required Skills and Experience
  • 3+ years developing software applications with exposure to full life-cycle development
  • Mobile App. Developer with experience developing business applications for iPhone/iPad and deploying the applications through the App Store
  • Device-side iOS programming and good skill in user interface (UI) design
  • Server-side development of services which provide data to mobile-enabled applications
  • Web services development and implementation (REST and SOAP)
  • Experience implementing applications with innovative approaches to complement non-mobile enterprise applications.
  • Understanding of best practices for provisioning and deploying enterprise users with custom mobile applications

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION(S): 

  • Develop and manage the complex sales cycle from opportunity to closure. Goal will be to generate sales revenue through a repeatable sales process
  • Qualify leads, determines deal strategy and identify sales pursuit team to build proposals including solution design, work estimates, and scope
  • Establish and develop a strategy for identifying and closing new software and services opportunities directly with targeted accounts and new strategic prospects
  • Present AINS solutions using appropriate value-based sales approaches and techniques, including team and/or consultative presentations and efforts
  • Proactively find new business opportunities through initiative and creativity, as well as working closely with Marketing, Lead Development Reps, and Sales management to develop focused campaigns to drive awareness and lead generation
  • Collaborate and lead successful execution of sales activities with internal cross-functional teams, with senior management and corporate counsel, through contract negotiation and signed contracts
  • Manage all sales activity and monthly forecasting of revenue in Salesforce.com

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • 5-7 years of successful sales experience selling enterprise software and service solutions to government and commercial accounts.  Minimum of 2 years solution selling experience
  • Hunter-type personality with track record of consistent earnings
  • Must have a proven track record of capturing and retaining clients
  • Experience positioning and selling Case Management/BPM software, enterprise business solutions and/or cloud software solutions
  • Active listener with demonstrated experience at consultative selling

Responsibilities:

 

  • Supporting AINS headquarters users for both hardware and software issues.
  • Supporting Ains remote office users for both hardware and software issues
  • Administration and maintenance of Active directory servers (2012.2016), Microsoft exchange servers, SharePoint server and SQL servers(SQL 2008 R2, SQL 2014)
  • Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks are created.
  • Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities.
