Duties: Experienced in customer system and programming methods, techniques, and procedures. Ability to serve as principle web-based developer and provide primary design and functionality enhancements.  Ability to provide Webmaster functions, updates to website content, reevaluation and enhancement of website functionality, verifying website links, and verifying compliance with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.  Experience in analyzing software upgrades and provide recommendations for implementation. Experience in management and engineering analysis services, assisting with DoD/DON statutory and regulatory requirements for IT portfolio management in all life cycle stages.  Experience in management with engineering services related to network system design, server consolidation, Information Assurance, and application development. The contractor shall have a working understanding of ColdFusion and/or Java development. The contractor shall have a background in Information Assurance techniques and tools and shall understand and be able to apply the complexities of the Defense Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP).

Minimum Experience: High level of functional competency with IIS web applications 

  • 2 years of experience developing and deploying applications and tools using ASP.NET C#, LINQ, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Java, Microsoft SQL, ColdFusion, and XML
  • 2 years of experience debugging and modifying existing applications in various programming languages
  • 2 years of experience with change management processes and software lifecycle management
  • 2 years of experience with automated and manual unit testing for custom software applications
  • 1 year of experience using Microsoft Team Foundation Server
  • DoD 8570 IAT II certifications

  • Supporting AINS headquarters users for both hardware and software issues.
  • Supporting Ains remote office users for both hardware and software issues
  • Administration and maintenance of Active directory servers (2012.2016), Microsoft exchange servers, SharePoint server and SQL servers(SQL 2008 R2, SQL 2014)
  • Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks are created.
  • Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities.
  • Troubleshoot LAN related issues
  • Configuring and installing new laptops for users and managing printers and print servers.
  • Creating new rules and monitoring Ains firewall



Skills Required:

  • Symantec backup Software
  • Veeam Backup
  • VMWARE 5.5 and above
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS
