Senior Account Manager (AM)

AINS is seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial sales performer who has demonstrated experience generating business within government and commercial markets with existing contract vehicles.  Specific federal account knowledge and relationships required – HUD (Housing and Urban Development), OPM (Office of Personnel Management) and DOL Department of Labor).This is an uncapped earning opportunity for an aggressive and focused sales professional to sell enterprise case management solutions and services to accounts with existing contract vehicles.

AINS is a fast paced, high growth technology company and a recognized leader in our field.  The Senior Account Manager will leverage and grow their knowledge of specific accounts to further expand/sell AINS solutions. The ideal candidate has a track record of sales success, in-depth knowledge of specific accounts, and is looking to make a significant impact for these customers. 

The Senior Account Manager is a high-visibility role that will own and grow a territory for one, or more, existing federal accounts for eCase® adaptive case management solutions. Essential Job Functions

  • Develop and qualify leads, determines deal strategy and identify sales pursuit team to build proposals including solution design, work estimates, and scope

  • Establish and develop a strategy for identifying and closing new software and services opportunities directly with targeted accounts and new strategic prospects within the assigned account(s)

  • Present AINS solutions using appropriate value-based sales approaches and techniques, including team and/or consultative presentations and efforts

  • Work with Pre-Sales and Marketing to develop customize demos, proof of concepts, and prospect/client communication as needed

  • Proactively find new business opportunities through initiative and creativity

  • Research target organizations to understand their key business priorities, organizational structure and translate how AINS solutions can help meet their goals

  • Collaborate and lead successful execution of sales activities with internal cross-functional teams, with senior management and corporate counsel, through contract negotiation and signed contracts

  • Stay current with competitive landscape and industry/sector trends

Experience & Skills

  • 5-7 years of successful sales experience selling enterprise software and service solutions to government and commercial accounts.  Minimum of 2 years solution selling experience
  • Experience selling into the Federal Government including knowledge of specific federal agencies
  • Hunter-type personality with track record of consistent earnings over-achievement in past Account Executive roles, advancement and increased responsibility in past positions
  • Must be able to demonstrate a “rolodex” of multiple mid-level to “C” level executives in specific government accounts, and the existence of ongoing relationships that would facilitate sales engagements
  • Must have a proven track record of capturing and retaining clients
  • Experience positioning and selling Case Management/BPM software, enterprise business solutions and/or cloud software solutions
  • Active listener with demonstrated experience at consultative selling
  • Capable of managing a pipeline of prospects at different stages of the buying cycle
  • Evidence of exceptional commitment to a process-driven sales approach, and accurately tracking and forecasting of all customer engagement and activity through the use of Salesforce
  • Comfort with tracking the sales pipeline and being accountable to metrics
  • Ability to interact with business and technology executives about their challenges and link those needs to the demonstrated value of our solutions
  • Ability to craft and deliver winning proposals/presentations in response to customer requirements

ServiceNow System Administrator

AINS is seeking a talented ServiceNow System Administrator to join our team supporting a US government agency with a global presence. ServiceNow Administrator and ITIL certifications are required to successfully perform in this exciting position. The ideal candidate has 4-6 years of IT experience and holds an Active secret clearance. The work location is at the client site in Crystal City (Arlington), VA.

The ServiceNow System Administrator responsibilities include performing system administration and development of the ServiceNow implementation, including the translation of customer requests into operable requirements and the coding, scripting, configuring and customization of ServiceNow. The System Admin will assist in implementing ITIL best practices using ServiceNow. This individual will also field and resolve ServiceNow issues and perform other duties as assigned. Key duties will be development and enhancement of existing modules such as Incident, Change, Problem, Asset, Knowledge, Project and Portfolio Management, Configuration Management, Employee Self-Service Portal, AD Automation, and Service Catalog. Additional duties include training, mentoring and coaching user community and internal customers as well as monitoring & evaluating the systems operability and performance metrics. 

Additional Responsibilities

  • Development and enhancement of existing modules such as Incident, Change, Problem, Asset, Knowledge, Project and Portfolio Management, Configuration Management, CMDB (Discovery Module), Employee Self-Service Portal, AD Automation, and Service Catalog
  • Field and resolve ServiceNow issues as Tier Two Support 
  • Review best practices and suggest better optimization 
  • Configuration Librarian, maintaining the data integrity of the CMDB 
  • Project Manage new releases of ServiceNow   

Required Skills

  • ServiceNow System Administrator Certification 
  • Preferred: ServiceNow Developer Certification 
  • ITIL v3 Foundation Certification or later 
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science (or equivalent) 

A minimum of 4 years of experience with/in the following

  • Implementing, configuring and customizing Web Technologies (XML, HTML, JAVA Script, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, etc.)
  • Web applications, networks, protocols and email (SMTP, WMI, POP3)
  • Experience with ServiceNow configuration(s) and formatting data for the CMDB
  • ServiceNow development experience and the ability to create forms, workflows and prototypes within ServiceNow
  • Understanding of and experience working with IT Service Management processes (Incident, Problem, Asset & Configuration, Change, Release, SLM, Service Catalog)
  • Knowledge of LDAP, VPN, SSL and other such technologies

Lead Web Developer

AINS, Inc. has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Lead Web Developer to develop manage web development to included Drupal, Open Source and other COTS Applications and Web Services on a large IT project.  The AINS team provides application operations and maintenance, COTS integration and software development services and business solutions for more than 50 mission systems in the Federal Government.  The Web Development Lead will work closely with government customers to lead Web Applications Development, Web Services, and Operations Support Tasks working with Open Source products and technologies, particularly Drupal.  Candidates should be proficient in current and emerging web-based technologies.

General Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform web development  and testing  and provide and technical oversight for the application operations and web development team (5 FTEs)
  • Translate specifications from clients into requirements for application enhancements
  • Engage with client on technical topics, such as best practices, recommendations for enhancements, and general questions
  • Implement tasks in accordance with schedule and budget goals
  • Conduct and manage project planning/estimation with technical staff and customers
  • Stay abreast of current technology and seek out new tools that can be utilized appropriately
  • Make suggestions that improve programming techniques, applications, documentation and client deliverables
  • Engage in problem definition and solution implementation according to client needs
  • Work closely with USAID stakeholders to effectively manage customer expectations for all software releases
  • Ensure team follows appropriate standard operating procedures, including following the change management process and ensure compliance with USAID SDLC standards and customer specifications.
  • Track action items and actively identify and mitigate risks
  • Motivate staff and provide leadership and guidance to improve team performance.  Identify, communicate, and lead ongoing process improvements initiatives.  Support career development and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Provide support to the USAID Project Manager for ad-hoc business development activities

Required Skills

  • Must possess a1+ years of Project Management and/or Release Management experience
  • Must possess at least 1-2 years of experience with PHP programming and Open Source web applications
  • Must be able to triage, troubleshoot, and delegate tasks where appropriate to review and respond to technical challenges
  • Familiarity with server side and browser scripting
  • Familiarity with a variety of SQL compliant database platforms, web servers, and environments
  • Knowledge and expertise with cross browser compatibility issues (CSS, JavaScript, DHTML)
  • Demonstrate a willingness, interest, and aptitude to learn new technologies and skills
  • Requires proven ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
  • Requires strong communication (verbal and written) skills with other team members and clients
  • Requires discipline to keep estimates, documentation, and timekeeping up to date
