URAC Selects eCase to Streamline Accreditation Process

URAC Selects eCase® Adaptive Case Management Solution to Streamline Health Care Accreditation Process

AINS Delivers Highly Configurable Platform to Support Ever-Changing Health Care Industry Requirements

GAITHERSBURG, Md.Oct. 12, 2015 -- AINS, Inc., a leading global provider of cloud-based, adaptive case management platforms and solutions, today announced that URAC — a leader in promoting health care quality through accreditation, education, and measurement — selected the AINS' eCase® Platform to upgrade their accreditation review services. This new platform will help enhance URAC's accreditation management operations and business processes to better serve the growing list of health care industry organizations it serves while delivering greater transparency throughout the accreditation process.

URAC recognizes that a case-based approach to helping solve an increasing amount of varied and unstructured work is essential for the delivery of a higher level of service.  Organizations seeking URAC accreditation for their health care operations are asked to meet rigorous quality standards. By leveraging the eCase platform, URAC will now be better equipped to assess applicants for accreditation, respond quickly to their changing needs, collaborate with internal and external teams, and deliver more self-service opportunities along the accreditation workflow.

"The state of health care in America these days is constantly changing and extremely dynamic," said Gracelyn McDermott, URAC's vice president of accreditation and client services. "In order to maintain growth and competitiveness, URAC must adapt its processes to fit to changes in the industry, while ensuring our mission to improve health care does not falter. eCase is an ideal choice to provide us with the flexibility we need to respond to the organizations we serve and keep up with evolving accreditation demands without compromising our quality."

"AINS is excited to add URAC to our list of eCase clients, and we look forward to helping them build an even stronger competitive advantage.  URAC's initiative to automate their accreditation process exemplifies how eCase can be easily configured for organization-wide process solutions that ensure the highest level of customer service," said Moe Goswami, president and CEO of AINS, Inc. "By deploying eCase, URAC will have a single platform to conduct critical program initiatives, while fostering collaboration and greater process flexibility."

eCase is a low code, adaptive case management platform that enables agile, information-driven decision making across diverse lines of business within government and commercial markets. Configuration of core case management features — including UI design, forms, workflow, rulesand reports — allow eCase to automate highly structured and unstructured processes without the high cost and time constraints of custom code development.  By unifying manual processes and business process management (BPM) applications on the eCase Platform, organizations can streamline IT architecture, lower operation and maintenance cost, and reduce change risk. In addition to custom configurations, out-of-the-box eCase Solutions for Human Resources, Audit, Inspections and Investigations, Incident Management, and Open Government further accelerate time to value, while allowing organizations to easily modify their solutions as their processes change.  eCase can be hosted on premise or in AINS' FedRAMPSM cloud-certified data center.
